THE ANTICIPATION IS OVER! It is with great excitement that we announce a new addition to our fleet. As of January 2015 we have acquired a brand new 50-ton Peterbilt Century 1150 rotator tow truck to better service the Chester, Delaware and Lancaster county communities. This new heavy-duty tow truck is essentially an ultra portable crane that will tremendously help with vehicle recoveries, equipment moving/placement, un-decking trucks and all the really tough jobs that require precision in really tight spaces. We outfitted it with a special under lift specifically designed to tow really low clearance vehicles like city buses and RVs. The boom can rotate a full 360 degrees, which allows us to pick up an item on one side of the truck and safely place it on the other side, this is important if a vehicle would go down an embankment on the highway. Traditional tow trucks would require the road to be closed in order to maneuver the tow truck to recover the vehicle. With this new rotator tow truck we will be able to reduce our impact on the road system and traffic flow to hopefully ease your commute. This truck will allow us to be more efficient and reduce the time it takes to do a job and get traffic moving again. We outfitted the truck with a five-winch package. There are: two 50,000lb main winches and two 22,000lb auxiliary winches mounted on the boom and one 50,000lb drag winch mounted on the rear of the truck. This truck has the power to lift roughly 10 African Elephants, 33 passenger cars, or one fully loaded semi truck.
